Hello Everyone!
So recently I have seen quite a few threads about a good PC build (Usually under $1000). So just recently I built my brother's PC with these exact specs and everything worked out pretty smooth (Except a few things).

Anyway, he get's over 300 FPS on MCSG on Vanilla Minecraft and all his other games run smooth (TF2, Magicka, Garry's Mod etc...) He doesn't play many FPS (BF4, COD Ghost etc...) but the FPS would be pretty good on those games.

So here are the Specifications of his Build:
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Gigabyte 760 Windforce Edition
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78LMT-USB 3
Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M (White)
Storage: Intel 530 120GB SSD
RAM: 8GB Ripjaws (Forget the exact model)
Power Supply: Seasonic S12 II Bronze

This Build does not include any peripherals but here are some I can recommend:
Monitor: Acer H236HL
Mouse: Corsair, Razer, SteelSeries, Cooler Master
Keyboard: Corsair, Razer, SteelSeries, Ducky, Cooler Master

Some of the tricky parts we ran into whilst building the PC, was having to play around with the Power Supply to be able to plug the Power extension cable in. Also, to fit in the GPU, we had to remove the CD Drive bay (Pretty Simple), so if you plan to use a CD Drive, be wary that it's a tight fit with one.

If you would like more info on the build, leave a reply:p

NOTE: If this is your first time building a PC and have no support, I would recommend building in a larger case.

EDIT:
Here's a pic of the sexai case we used:p

holy mutha of gawd... is it liquid cooled? an AMD overheats after a long of of gaming.. I had one melt out of the socket once :)

I also recommend a corsair K95 keyboard (beast) and a ROCCAT XTB mouse (also a beast :D)

Same case as my desktop right now o_O ... but you put an AMD in it :( (Yes, I'll admit, I'm a bit of a NVIDIA + Intel fanboy)
My current build:
  • Intel Core i7-3770K
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB "Superclocked"
  • 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 RAM
  • WD Black 1TB hard drive
  • ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard
  • Seasonic 800W Gold power supply (I think? Off the top of my head anyways)
  • Bitfenix Prodigy (White) case
Gets some massive amount of FPS if I uncap it, though I usually keep it capped to 120 FPS - the refresh rate of a standard monitor is 60 Hz, meaning that unless you have a 120 Hz monitor or above, you won't be able to see improvement in anything over 60 FPS.

Yeah, I think a lot of people don't understand that most monitors can't show more than 60FPS (60 Hz), unless they bought a "Gaming Monitor" or one with >120 Hz:p
