1.8 Spectating?

So I've been hearing people talking about how they can right click on a player during a game, and see there perspective. I can't figure out how to do it, and it seems pretty cool! Could anyone help me?

This is only being implemented when the servers switch over solely to 1.8 and drop support for 1.7 so unfortunately you cannot use that feature.
