1.8 Maps glitch

Ever since the switch to 1.7/1.8, some of the maps that have been created for 1.8 with new blocks and idems (Example: Holiday Resort 2) have had missing blocks, in the pathways and in some of the buildings. Should there be a revamp of the maps to eliminate the glich entirely, or something else?

Everytime i walk on the 1.8 blocks in 1.8 I get kicked for flying.

Hmm, I wonder what the fix for this bug is? I hope they can fix it so it does not lag or kick you for flying anymore.

These issues are all because oir server is run on 1.7, seeing as 1.8 blocks are foreign entities they are super glitchy and such.

I know that something is being done to fix this issue.
