ProfessorRetro The application process is not at all based on people being 'famous'. Honestly, I, and I believe the rest of the clan would agree, couldn't care less whether or not an applicant was famous. Everybody is given an equal opportunity to get into the clan, and nobody is given an edge based upon their rank or level of fame. If you look through the past applications, you will see many big name applicants, with lots of wins, moderator rank, or other signatures of 'fame' passed over in favor of people who, even though they may lack this 'fame', get along well with the clan.

The way the application system at Sector Six works ensures that the only people who are accepted into the clan are those who get along well with EVERYONE else in the clan. By taking the opinion of every individual member into account, we can ensure that the clan functions smoothly and efficiently, with the ability to form strong friendships and work together incredibly well as a team.

Everybody is given an equal chance to be in the clan, but they have to deserve it. They have to be friendly, to be active, to be patient, to be reasonably skilled at PvP, and, most of all, to form real friendships with the members of the clan. A trial member period, at least in my opinion, would do nothing to improve the system, as we want to gauge what kind of a person you are at all times, not just when you are on the cusp of being accepted or denied. If all the members of the clan like the applicant, they will be accepted, and if not, they will be denied. It may sound harsh, but that process has kept this clan running smoothly, and has allowed for a level of success unmatched by other application processes.

Before joining this clan, I had not talked to many of the players on the roster for more than a few words. I knew who they were but not much more than that. When voting on them, I came in with no preconceptions of their character, but rather formed those ideas from experiences I shared with them, and I ended up making great friends. This was possible because they kept coming on TS day after day, being funny, friendly, and generally likeable people. They fit the criteria I look for in voting, and many of them eventually made it into the clan.

To conclude, everyone has a chance. I know I've rambled on a lot of different topics in this post, but that's the idea I really want to end on. Every applicant has an equal opportunity to make a positive impression on the members of the clan and make it into the team, regardless of fame. If you feel as if you are unable to make that impression, or that you just don't fit in with the members of the clan, then the truth is that this clan might not be the clan for you.

To anyone applying: If you wish to join the clan, even if your application has not been responded to, feel free. Every member of this clan is willing to change their opinion on an applicant if they are given reason to, and, if you can provide that reason, then you have a good chance of getting in.

Just want to throw this is in before we completely drop the topic.

I "applied" a few days ago (Although it was a joke) and I joined the TS. Before I even asked anyone if I could be moved up I was poked saying that I wasnt going to be moved up. (I quoted your post because I feel it kind of has to do with this)

I specifically told you that certain members had issues with you being moved up into the channel. So in order to prevent problems, i didnt move you.

I am withdrawing my application. It seems to me that the only people who get accepted into this clan are famous mods/people. I've been waiting for three weeks, and don't give me that patient talk which I know some people will want to look mature by saying. It shouldn't take this long to accept someone into a Minecraft Clan. No one is given an opportunity if they're not famous. I understand things like the Hell Games where they want famous people, but this is different. I felt as if I could really help this clan progress further in their journey to become one of MCSGest best. I do not think if I'm famous or not should affect that. I was told in teamspeak that apparently "You will not get into this clan cause no one likes you, sorry". Well how would you like me or not if I was never moved once upto a teamspeak channel. Alright maybe once, but then Kerbals and Pepsiz ditched me within ten seconds under the pretense "They had chores". For all of this I'm taking my application back. I'm sorry for posting all of this, but I'm doing this in the hopes you guys will understand that there are those of us not famous, or moderators, but we could still help this clan out a lot. That's the point of trial. I feel that the voting system should be used in the "full member" process. Not the trial member process, because that's what trial is for. You are tested. So for those people who apply after me. Sure do some research about them, but give them a chance. Since I've left MCSG this is my final wish and favour I wish from the community. Not just you guys. Every clan. Give people chances. I know your standards are high but this is Minecraft! Thank you. This is not to invoke flame, just meant for SixZo and the others to see.

Sixzo, Lovelights, and Huahwi, and Linkdude1997 were the four original members in the clan, they started it. So you cant count them.

Now im going to assume by "famous" you mean youtube famous.

DPinky has a youtube channel, but hardly uploads anymore.
Sixorr (to my knowledge) doesnt have a youtube channel.
Hotdog on the other hand, has a pretty big channel, which is still growing, and im pretty sure Justin still uploads.
Zeno has a youtube channel, but hardly uploads.
Kerbals has a youtube channel which is steadily growing, and currently he sits around 700 subscribers.
CruelDefiance rarely uploads, and when he does it's a troll video.
Fireworkmaster9 hardly uploads.
Hyp3r has a youtube channel which he tries to upload videos ONCE A MONTH. and he sits around 300 subscribers.
Zoeticly has a youtube channel as well, and because of a recent video with Huahwi, her channel blew up. But her channel was no where near as big when she applied.
iFanyo doesnt have a youtube channel.
NewYorkKidd9 has a youtube channel, but hardly uploads anymore.

7 / 11 people i just named either dont have youtube channels, or dont upload anymore. so we can toss the whole "famous" idea out the window.
