It just depends on the person and if they had been kicked for using it before. The more you abuse it, the longer the ban would be. I don't believe anyone has ever been permanently banned for it though.

This rule really needs to be announced, as it is not well-known. I had to tell a pretty "famous" player today that it was against the rules during the time of Tomahawk's livestream. Speaking of Tomahawk, he showcased the glitch in his latest video and seemed oblivious to the fact that it was against the rules.

Well, it's a minecraft glitch. So it shouldn't be bannable? Good idea, let's just allow block glitching, I mean, it's only a minecraft glitch right? Also, this doesn't work in vanilla minecraft. I suspect bukkit :3

It seems really unclear right now whether it is actually bannable or not. The Sr. Staff still appears to be making up their minds about it, and, though I have been told that it's bannable, I have also been told that it is not bannable by several different members of the Sr. Staff.

So basically, idk.
