Hey everyone, it's Cubes!
I've noticed that in the last few days, I've been accidentally voting for things a lot more often. I will quite often make a typo and type /v 1 when I meant to type /v 2
This got me thinking. What if there were a way to withdrawal your vote and replace it with a different choice? Perhaps a player could type /v Withdrawal and you would get another chance to vote.
What would this mean for the public?
I believe that adding this possibility would optimize the amount of games constantly running. For instance, if a player accidentally votes for the wrong map, then they are more likely to leave, as they can't play the map that they intended to vote for.
If the player would be able to re-vote, I think that not only would player satisfaction be more consistent, but games would flow smoother, as players don't constantly leave and join.
What are the disadvantages?
Now one of the most obvious problems would be spamming. Constantly voting and withdrawing to spam the voting tally, and generally just messing with everything. This is why I would think that a limit to re-voting could be set. I suggest that each player is allowed to withdrawal once per lobby.
TL;DR? Why not let people change their vote if they mess up or make some other error?
Edit: One thing that I forgot to mention is that lately, MCGamer has been very responsive to player's ideas lately, which is one of the things that's inspired me to make this.
