This post, is a very special post. As this is my 1,000th post. Since this is my 1,000th post, I've achieved Active Member here, my long term goal that I've now completed. To celebrate, you all receive 1 cookie
That aside, I'll tell you, for the first time, how I got Minecraft, and my life on MCSG
On January, 2012, I had been viewing a lot of Minecraft youtubers (mainly SkyDoesMinecraft, back in the day
), and that really made me want Minecraft! I managed to convince my parents to buy me it, and started my journey at Minecraft.
I started playing some Singleplayer survival. I was so bad! I remember making a 3 X 3 dirt house (which was only one block high) and kept on thinking skeletons in full gold armor were easy (and other players ingame). I kept on trying to work on my survival instinct, but it took forever.
A few months later, I got into servers.My first server I went on was Hypixel's. I wanted to find so many more servers, so I normally came onto Planet Minecraft and looked at all the small servers. Most of the servers were just too boring for me, and I couldn't find the thing that was right for me. I did find a few good servers, such as this one called Mineverse (I practice Survival Games there), a really cool survival server (I think it shut down), and many more that I cannot recall.
By 2013, I could remember so much about Minecraft, and became a full on Minecraft nerd. I would never stop playing Minecraft. NEVER.
It was until June 2o13 that I started playing MCSG. At school, a friend started telling me about this server he found. I told him to give me the IP, and I received the IP (eu28.mcsg.in).
I thought that with my impressive survival instinct, I'd be boss at this. I was wrong. The only tier 2 I'd ever get, was one from corn, and I never got to DM in my first 200 games. For about 200 games, I had shown very little progress, and I thought I'd never be good (nowadays, that is still true). But then, I was on a game on the EU hub, and won (I think it was on Fortune Island, on EU69 ).
At about the same time as my first win, I made my forum account. I originally made it to just make a report abuse, but then I wanted to be a part of this community, and started doing much more. I remember my first public thread (http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/the-yins-guide-to-winning-mcsg.51254/. Don't necro it. I know I call myself an idiot nowadays, but this just shows how much progress I've made). After that depressing debut, I didn't go onto MCSG for months
When I finally returned to MCSG. I tried to practice, and practice, and practice (still practicing to this day). I tried to watch many MCSG youtubers, but their tips were unsuccessful, I tried spending all my day on Tips and Strategies, and it's too hard. I was really angry, and I felt sad. I wanted to find a way to cover up my horrible skills.
I stopped thinking about my horrible skills, and went back to the forums for simple conversations and hence forth.
I started to get into staff members, as I appreciate their efforts to our server. This began me liking a whole lot of moderators (*cough Ciphoux cough*). I still enjoy meeting many of our mods on our servers.
A little before I got to this point where I am, I wasn't that popular, and wanted to fit in (I still feel depressed about those days), so I wanted to find a way to get myself more used to the server, so I became a full on forumer, and went on to meet many more people (I'll list them later).
That's basically my life on MCSG (if there's more, I'll edit it, but for now, THE END)
