The Old Lobby

Hey guys! Mini_Curly here bringing you my opinion on the "new" MCSG lobby. It's not so new, it's been out for a few months now, however I find myself very bored in the lobby.

Parkour: Yes, I understand there is still parkour in the lobby, however the library parkour in somewhat boring and all the courses are similar. The old lobby with the big tree and castle had various levels of parkour and a much better theme.

Armor race: In the new lobby, I've seen people with gold or black dyed leather armor, but I'm so confused where to get them. I enjoyed how in the old lobby when you joined it would basically be a race to the diamond armor, seeing who could get the most armor pieces.

Scenery: The new lobby is very basic and is basically just a big room with a couple of seperate rooms and a library. The biomes are pretty cool, however it just looks so bland and plain. The old lobby had a huge castle, a huge tree, market stands, a little haunted passage way, houses, and more. It was so much more entertaining, in my opinion.

I understand the lobby needs to be changed up every once in a while to spice things up and make it different, but maybe you guys can work to change the lobby up a bit more ans make it more entertaining. Remember, this is my OPINION and I totally am fine if nothing can be changed.

Yes i also expected more from the lobby when mcsg was updating but the only new thing is a tree and some snow but i don't really care. As long as the sg maps stay what they are it's fine for me.

I'm personally a big fan of MCSG hosting new lobby competitions every 3-4 months. This gives a way to interact with the community as well as spicing up the lobbies.

What ur talking about is not the old lobby because the one we're playing in was the original mcsg lobby from when the servers started in 2012 but a Christmas version

I do think that we are going to need a new lobby soon. While I do like how they brought back the old beta lobby and like the modifications to the lobby, I do think we need a new lobby soon. For those who are nostalgia freaks and like the old lobby, they can log into SG classic and see the old lobby from time to time. I can see that you don't necessarily understand the point of why this lobby was added, however, I do like your post though because it is not an all out rant and is respectful and enjoyable to read. I really appreciate this thread though I may disagree with a few points. Great thread

I would like to see a new lobby because I think the transition of lobbies recently was a step back. I know it was the old lobby and that is why people like it, but I think we have to just keep moving forward.

I Totally Agree With You Curly But I Don't Think That MCSG Is Going To Change The Lobby Back To The Old One. I Do Think That Soon MCSG Will Start To Spice Up The Lobby To Make It Less Boring! I Get So Bored In The Lobby That It Is My Least Favorite Part Of An SG Game! THIS IS MY OPINION!
