Hello MCSG'ers! Some cool things to share as MCGamer was approached by the IT department to donate some SG servers for their charity event ran by Anythink Libraries. Tomorrow in 5 library locations in Colorado, they will be celebrating the release of the newest movie of the Hunger Games Trilogy by using our servers for their in-house tournaments. Hundreds of players will be battling it out with other local and other remote players in these 5 library branches. Here are the details of their event:
In an effort to encourage creative digital connections among tweens and teens, Anythink will host its first-ever Minecraft Hunger Games competition on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 3-5 pm. Customers at participating Anythink locations will interact in a virtual world in which each library location is represented as a different district from the popular science fiction series, The Hunger Games. The event allows for students from across Adams County to create and interact with one another, regardless of which Anythink location they visit, while also engaging in the exciting world of the bestselling young adult fiction series.

Minecraft is a highly acclaimed game in which users can build structures and environments using textured cubes. Users can then interact with one another in created worlds through a variety of gaming modes. As an educational tool, Minecraft is increasingly found in classrooms across the world to help explain everything from geometry to city planning to environmental issues. Anythink's Minecraft Hunger Games will use the gaming platform to inspire tweens and teens to create and discover while collaborating with their peers.

Anythink is one of the first libraries in the country to maintain its own dedicated Minecraft server for this popular game. The server allows for multi-player use at all Anythink locations, as well as 24/7 online access for Anythink customers from home or any other location. Minecraft is installed on all Anythink PCs district-wide, and registered participants who do not already have their own Minecraft license will be provided one for use during the Nov. 20 Minecraft Hunger Games competition.

This is a prime example of when you need teleportation powers.
Anyone flying free Concorde flights from Australia to America?

In all honesty this is really cool and will be good promotion for MCGamer.
