For everyone using, "BSM and 1.7 give the same features", as a way to make the point it should be allowed, I must ask but one question; If they're the same then why're you still using BSM anyway?

Because many people can only play with 1.6 optifine, therefore they install 1.6 bsm so they don't lose the advantage to 1.7 users.

I don't really see how BSM gives a huge advantage.

Sprint never breaks. It gives the advantage of moving around a lot quicker. It also means you are able to do things such as sprinting while on fire.

Unless you've made some bad ass coding, I don't think there is a way to differentiate BSM and 1.7.2 sprinting? I'm sure it would string some problems together actually.

Its actually quite simple, so basicly;
BSM:"Hey, I have better sprint on my client, would you like to edit my permissions?"
Plugin: "Nope, chuck testa, /kick"

If you run to the side or backwards, its BSM; thats how.

Yeah, but if your on a server, it doesn't let you sprint backwards and sideways. Not on my bsm anyway...

We'll it detects if someone is running backwards or sideways I think. The 1.7 sprint only let's you sprint forward easier.

No, it detects a message sent out by the mod it's self to the server.
