This is a rant about how MCSG desperately need more mods. If you totally relate to this rant please get someone of a high rank to read this and hopefully sort it out!

Take a moment to think about how often you come across a mod mod in game. Now, think about how many hackers you come across in game. For me I come across a mod 1 in every 20 games. I come across a hacker 1 in every 5 games. Obviously those numbers will be different with everyone but i sure that you will come across more hackers than mods.

Recently, MCSG has grown very fast and is a very big community. As the numbers rise, unfortunately, so does the numbers of hackers and i feel like MCSG hasn't accepted more mods to cope with this rise.

You can say that everyone can take part by reporting these hackers but not everyone has a computer that can record at stable FPS. Also, it can be too much effort to come onto these forums every time you come across a hacker to report them. If i was to report a hacker every time I came across one I might as well be a mod.

As a side note I did apply to become a mod but I got rejected for the reason being that they are not looking for any mods OR I didn't meet the requirements, I can't remember. To be honest I really think MCSG need to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for mods or just start accepts more people because it is such a shame that such a good and fun game is ruined by these people that feel the need to cheat.

This problem has been going on since MCSG had that massive growth a few months a go and it saddens me that nothing has been done to sort this issue out. Please, if you are still reading this, help this post get seen by a person with high status and if you can't the least you could do is keep this post alive by posting your comments down below, thank you for your support.

Undercover Mods, duh. They have a /disguise command that get rids of their red name so hackers won't turn off their hacks.

No matter how many moderators MCSG hires, Hackers will always be present. Sure it will reduce the amount of hackers you may see every game but if MCSG were to accept everyone that applied for Moderator the standards would drop, which would lead to a whole bunch of inactive mods and mods that are not doing their job, this would lead to players complaining about Moderators not doing their job. Quality not quantity is the best way for MCSG to improve in my opinion.

I don't think MCSG should accept everyone just more people and if it decreases the number of hackers thats exactly what i want. I respect your point about quality not quantity but i do think there are a lot of active people, like me, that have been rejected. I've been playing every day for a long time now and i havenm't been accepted :(.

There are millions of accounts that have played on MCSG a few 100 mods is not enough i think

Try to record yourself. You can also contact mods on TeamSpeak
how do i do that?!

That, i didn't know but still, the hackers i come across don't get kicked or banned most the time

How would you know? dun dun dun...
Some times when hackers walk on water they die randomly, is don't know if that because there is a mod or they automatically get kicked but it doesn't happen very often

If all mod applications were accepted:
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HACKERS WOULD BECOME MODS?!?!

If more mod applications were accepted:
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HACKERS AND 11-12 YEAR OLDS WOULD BECOME MODS?!??!!

Do you really want a hacker as a Moderator?
Do you really want an 11 year old to be able to ban you just because you killed him in a stylish way? (Combos, epic snipes, amazing 180's?)
Look, I do agree that Moderators are an endangered species in-game (lol, I mean they aren't commonly seen.)
but I don't think they should accept a larger amount of applicants.
They have a set standard for who they accept and who they deny - You think you're qualified to be a Moderator, correct? Well, if they said you don't meet the requirements, then you don't meet the requirements.
Hackers are part of MCSG. Without them, MCSG wouldn't need Moderators, and a lot of people would lose faith in the MCSG Staff - Why? Because there was virtually no staff members! Admins were picked out of the Sr. Moderators, Sr. Moderators were taken from the pool of Moderators, but if there were no Moderators, then where would the Admins and Sr. Mods come from?

Ok, that was a bad example, but..
honestly, they have a limit for a reason. They know what a raging kid can and will do, and they do their best to not put that kid in power.

****No offense to all you 11-12 year olds out there. This was just an example. I know there are/were/was/is/will be mature and responsible children out there, but this was an example.

I think I'll say something on the matter. I use the /disguise function in almost every game I join. I use for two facts. The first fact: I don't want to be targeted. The second fact: People won't turn off their illegal mods. Surprisingly, I find a lot of people who I think are hacking, but I end up dismissing because I can see that they simply were better than me. I do agree though, we need more mods, especially EU mods.

We don't want to accept anyone that wouldn't be fit for the job. There aren't a to of people that are. Applications are open. It's not our problem if not enough people apply.

You also need to help. We all need to report hackers and other people breaking the rules.

Maybe I used the wrong words when saying loads of people should be accepted. I do want more mods but not loads and loads. I also don't want the standards of mods to drop i just want more of them :)

I totally agree with this. I do get owned sometimes and it just turns out they killed me fair and square. But as you said, there are more mods needed in the EU region
