Any tips and tricks? I can survive against one or two people in most cases, but when it comes to the bigger teams, I'm stuck on ways to deal with them, especially when trying to reclaim corn. help?

On map 3, come in from above with a stone/iron+ tier weapon.
On map 2, attack players when they are in the leaves at cornucopia.
On map 1, climb those trees to get a good look out, try and lure out teams and separate them.

In all cases wait until chest refill for them to be busy in chests, you can easily take off at least two people or more if you play it at the right time.

Biggest team I've taken down solo would be a team of six.

You can make use of the map, too. On map 3, lure them onto the vines/leaf ways. Then knock them down.
On map 1, there are lava pits around cornucopia. Try to push them in there.

If it's teams, on map 2 try to get to a high building with vines and try to knock them off when you get up high enough. Map 3 and 1 I haven't figured out yet except for run them into another team and try not to get in the crossfire.

Use the terrain, if you can get them in between leaves, caught on webs, on vines, etc. you can easily kill them one at a time as they try to kill you.

try to kill them 1 at a time. the way i do it is run in convoluted routes to split them up then take them separately

The most important thing is to have either; A: Good Chain/Gold or higher tier armor B: A stone/iron or higher tier sword (not hatchet)
The second most important thing is that you attack before the night because otherwise the chests get refilled and they will become tougher to deal with

Once you have checked off both of these things you are ready, remember being in a team means they have to share their loot either that or their will be one strong one and one/two weak one's.

If they are sharing they will most likely both run at you, if this is the case just keep spamming click and jump in between them, you will find they hit each other a lot.

If not its gets a tad more difficult, the stronger one (most likely iron) will try to run at you head-on while the weaker one (most likely wood/leather) will either sit back and bow you or cut you off. The best thing to do in this situation is run around in circles while the stronger guy chases you eventually the weaker one's will get tired and will come in to help. If you are good at flanking just hit these one's as much as possible while flanking the other guy. Eventually after you have those kills under your belt surprise him by turning around and kicking his ass.

Also after taking down a team of more than two people you are pretty much set gear-wise :)

If they are a large team, they usually don't have very good things to go around. This means they can't be as agressive, just peck at you until you die. Which means you need to scare some off to fight the others. Hit several in the same time frame instead of going for just one to scare them off, and when they come back finish them off. The bigger the team the harder it is but then they will have less stuff if they are bigger. The ones that are only hitting you with their fist are an easy scare. Good luck!
