Survival Server Plans

As we prepare the server I will keep you all up to date with our latest work. If you have suggestions please feel free to post below.

Currently we only have the very basics of the server fleshed out, but the server is already beginning to take shape. Here is a list of plugins that we are currently testing for the server, however, this list will change and some of the plugins may be removed.

So, you may be wondering "why is factions not on the list?" That's because we believe the factions plugin will promote griefing, however, we are discussing the idea of developing our own plugin to manage districts. Currently, the features of such a plugin would include:

• Random District Assignment
• District Spawn

Among these features we are also thinking of including the ability to earn or buy your way into a district of your choice.

Currently, we are preparing to implement multi-world management and PvP. Currently, reguarding PvP, we plan to include PvP Zones and Safe Zones. We are not sure what other forms of PvP that will be included, but do not worry, we are actively searching for plugins to make your survival experience that much more amazing.

At the moment there are not too many donor perks, however you will have a shiny prefix to recognize your support for MCSG. Whether or not donor priority will be included is yet to be discussed.

Lag should be minimal because the survival server will be running on 9 GB of RAM.

I prefer (and so do almost a majority of Minecraft players) pvp servers that promote griefing (or put into kinda words, Raiding) if it were survival, it adds that extra challenge, to fight, defend your base, to kill/raid/loot, but as long as there is pvp you'll see me on it, lol.

Towny is a similar plugin to Factions, it's the same but it has a nice system whereas you have mayors, assistant, and would work well if you think the Factions plugin would promote griefing. The only problem through is that you'd find that many players have used Factions more, and would find Towny confusing.

Hate to sound like a prick but first plugin I looked for was Nocheat + lol
I am SOOOOO exited for this server because every survival server I join is plain factions and ik you guys can make something special

i have no clue what any of this means, but it is nice to know the focus is not just faction, but many other stuff. This looks like a server i'll just keep coming back to.

I think if we don't have factions and since I saw BOSEconomy we should also have like games to play like Mob Arena to earn money. We should also have a city or place where people could go for supplies, sell, buy. Then people should be able to build what ever they want dont know exactly how that would work but that would be cool.
