Hey guys! kingusa12 requested this thread so bam! Here it is!
As a VIP I get targeted a lot so thought I would share some strategies to deal with targeters!
Firstly if you are being targeted, don't fight back as this will easily slow your progress in the whole game of chest routes etc. and can severely damage your health (and your chances) so immediately take off in a direction and try to lose them.
If you cannot lose them by running off and they are being very persistant, you have two options.
Fight or Flight.
Firstly "Fight", This is my method for if you feel like you still have a chance in the game, personally I wouldn't try and luck a chest for a weapon as if you are unlucky, you are pretty much out. Try and lead them into a conflict with another player and in the chaos run off, or lead them into dangerous situations like near lava where they can easily make a mistake and be hit in.
"Flight" is my situation where you pretty much know you cannot win the game as they have wasted too much of your time and you don't have enough gear to manage. In this situation I do my best to make sure my targeters also will not win by wasting their time. If there is a large amount of water such as breeze, just swim around forever, or just run to an obscure part of the map like on sg1, if you take them right out to the glass wall, you are taking them away from chest routes and any chance for them winning. Also I tend to run for a bit then suddenly spin around, sprint past them and run in the opposite direction, over and over, as it is very irritating for your followers (I only suggest this if you are good at dodging)
These are just some of the strategies I use, so feel free to use them, please don't use this thread as an excuse to start some flame war or to hate
