If you were doing that awful in the game chances are they will have more kills than you. Chances are it's better to fight it out.

Then either...

a) they really don't know how to play the game or read... It says to come back into the arena when you're struck. (If they're that bad you may as well fight them)

b) They will get struck and know to come back in leaving them to win

Someone tried using this on me, I just waited them out, lol.
