Pokemon or Final Fantasy?

Both really fun games, of which I did play a lot when I was a child, but the question is; which game do you prefer? When posting your answer, be sure to include a certain version that you loved the most. xD

Anyways, I'll start. I loved Final Fantasy more than Pokemon. I started playing when I was about 8 and I still am playing it. My favorite was Final Fantasy 1 for the PSP, I loved it soooo much. <333

Never owned a game because I've never owned a DS/Gameboy. I'm not gonna buy one either because Pokemon is the only game I'd play on it. I play the TCG though.

I have to say I love both sets of games a lot

Final fantasy was great as the story was always epic and the gameplay varied a lot from game to game. FF3 for example allowed you to choose the class of your characters (after fulfilling requirements) and this allowed a lot of variety to the game. The team combos are also really sweet at times

Pokemon used to have such great gameplay which has dropped as of late compared to the older games but the huge number of team possibilities allows a lot of gameplay variation. The story usually dried up and becomes repetitive after you have played a few of the games. Also the main story ends a lot quicker compared to a lot of FF games.

I love both but FF comes out on top due to its length and awesome story. Pokemon has more variation but lacks length and detail.
