WHY did Team Elite revamp the lobby?

Here is my question: WHY did Team Elite revamp the lobby? Some of the revamps were good, but for the most part the OLD lobby by itself is better. I really loved the old lobby, and now it just doesn't feel the same. I want it to feel the same. If a lot of people can agree to this by either liking the thread or posting that they want to maybe they could switch back to the completely old lobby.​

I in general did not like the TE lobby anyway it was boring and wasn't very good anyway. I love the old lobby a lot but I hate what TE has done to it. I say have a contest, have chad put up the world download for the old lobby and have people download it and revamp it, then after about 1-2 weeks they will submit there lobby revamps and have the community vote on them.

I agree, I miss the original unedited lobby. At first, I was excited but after finding out many things from the lobby is missing, I am a bit upset. But I guess it was done to avoid any issues. Not sure what the exact reason is.
