Well, fortress I hadn't played in a while so I wasn't quite sure.

Anyway, currently using Epic_Frog_Song's hybrid pack, but I do like to switch from shredders faithful 64x64 and fifam (however you spell it/pronounce it) faithful 32x32.

I played SG2 today with faithful on and I didn't lag out, same with Fallen Empire yesterday. .-.

Well with fallen I have played it once and Half way through it just closed, I have played games on sg2 and fortress pyke it's just some games it crashes, not every game though

If you crash on certain maps with faithful, try turning off connected textures. I haven't tested it myself, but I told my friend to try it and it seems to work for him.

And how do you do that?

Go to Video Settings > Quality and then set Connected Textures to Off. If you don't have optifine this won't exist and I can't help you then, sorry
