If you want it cheap, build it your own. I know you said that you're no expert, but you could get help from a friend or something. Don't get off eBay.

But if you're desperate, then that PC is decent maybe even more.

You should be good with that.

Yeah but how do you know it just had a potato inside? then he would have to pay $150 to give it back for the refund.
Also, it might get damaged badly and or have viruses and stuff.

This guy sells heaps of PC's from what I can see, and he has 100% positive feedback. That's why I am considering this one. I also found this one on eBay. Not necessarily looking to buy, but I want to know if it's a good laptop, and if you know anywhere else that sells these laptops for under 600-650 bucks. Thanks

Although it may turn out to be a great deal, I wouldn't get it from eBay. Buy your PC from a trusted computer website/shop. Better yet, build your own! For parts, it depends where you live. I'm in Australia and bought all my parts from PC Case Gear, if you're in the US I've heard Newegg are good.

I'm Aussie too but like I said, know next to nothing about computers. Is building it easy and will I be able to learn off youtube?

It is actually easy. There are tutorials on it that you can follow on YouTube and on google. But I recommend this video series
www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw .
There are 3 parts this tutorial explains it very well and clearly so a beginner like you can understand.

Ok I'll look into it. How long would you think it would take, and what sort of budget am I looking at for a PC that will run minecraft smoothly? :)

How long it would take you to learn? Or how long would it take you to build it?
Learn: watch the vids and do research which is about a week or so
Building it: 4-5 hours for a beginner, it will be easier later on after experience

Budget: 600-1000 USD

Building a PC is easier than you would think, I recommend signing up on a computer forum and propose a budget, then experienced people can put together a parts list that will fit your needs. I'd put one together for you myself but I'm a bit out of touch with current hardware. As stated above, $600 is probably the minimum cost for a half-decent computer.
