This is what happens with every Minecraft update; it's released buggy and it's fixed over time. This is the first day of 1.6's release, it will get better with time.

I understand that, just suggesting we could go back to 1.5 for the time being as changing Minecraft versions is now easily accessible via the new launcher, so it isn't like downgrading to play on the mcsg servers would be a big hassle.

Many people no longer have the old launcher however, and the number one issue people are complaining about, FPS lag, is caused by the new launcher, not necessarily 1.6.

Someone could most likely post a link to the old Launcher .. and it might be a bit unfair to the Players on vacation to have unfair gameplays due to the Horrible FPS so I think reverting might be a good idea...

If you're talking about the premium extensions, it's already done - all active premium accounts were extended by a week (7 days) a minute or so before this post was made.
