1.6 and MCSG

Due to how many people upgraded to 1.6, we decided to upgrade early instead of waiting. If Minecraft has no fixes to the major issues within a timely manner, we will revert back down to 1.5. We have been getting reports that the CraftBukkit development teams has been working hard on applying fixes, so we can only assume these "inconvenient" bugs will be fixed within a week.

To the active premium members who have been supporting us, we decided to give you all a week extension (7 days extra) to all of your expiration dates just now. Please understand that we do not have control over the game having issues, but we do care about your playing experience specifically with our community. If your account expired within the last 24 hours and you did not get the upgrade, please email our support team to apply a special 7 days extra to your upgrade:

Keep an eye on the 1.6 update thread as that is our up-to-date status with everything we are doing related to the new update. Just hang in there and realize that it is not the end of the world if Minecraft is buggy for a few days after an update.

Probably a good idea to revert back in my opinion, I don't feel that 1.6 is going to be fully fixed any time soon and the mcsg servers aren't as enjoyable with all the current bugs.

This is what happens with every Minecraft update; it's released buggy and it's fixed over time. This is the first day of 1.6's release, it will get better with time.

I don't have too much of a problem with this, as my 1.6 launcher has the ability to revert back to 1.5.2 at the click of a button.

Yes, updating the servers was to premature, as the software only had like hours, minutes? I couldn't enjoy playing in the new Minecraft.
