I want to record MCSG -- What type of harddrive should I get?

Hey guys--

I want to get started on YouTube (finally) and I want to know what type of harddrive I should get.
I'll be using fraps, and I recently watched Blamph 's 5,000 subscriber special, and conveniently, my birthday is tomorrow! (It's 12:10 AM here, so it's kind of my birthday right now.. ) anyways, I was looking at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822149223 and I don't want to waste my money. Would this be good?

My specs:
Processor - AMD Phenom(tm) II X2 550 Processor 3.10 GHz
RAM - 8 GB
System type - 64 bit
Storage - 300 GB

I have no idea if getting a 1 TB external harddrive will effect my upload speed on YouTube and/or increase my FPS while recording, but if it does, I'm getting it. Any suggestions?
I want something that's less than $100 because I'm getting $200 for my birthday and I plan on gettign a new mouse and headset, so yeah.

Nope but that's all down to your graphics card not hard drive.

my mouse improves my computer it is home made i added a few features to it and my computer went from good to like crazy got the mouse for free before
