How to hold a mouse?

Well, recently (as in yesterday) my friend picked up that I hold a mouse quite weirdly compared to a 'normal' person. He then showed me how he held it, then others showed me their way of holding, all completely different to my way.

So I am now going to post a picture of the way I hold it:

If you notice, I hold it with my middle finger on the left click, ring finger on the right click, then having my pointer finger on one macro and thumb on the other macro, is this correct or am I just weird?

Weird. Yeah that is strange to some of us, but whatever works for you I guess.

Here's how you hold a mouse.

First you sneak at it, they are usually behind a fridge.

Second, when its guard is down, you grab the tail. But make sure you wear gloves or your hand will get bit.

Third, do whatever you want to do with it.

I've never had a pet mouse/mouse infestation so I never learned how to hold a mouse But I definitely don't think you should hold a mouse by it's tail, that seems kind of cruel to me.
