So, this has been an idea I've suggested before. I personally want this to be implemented and believe it can be a life-saver for people with bad internet. Anywho, I'll continue.
Ever have full iron armor in a game? Then you have a terrible lagspike and your internet/Minecraft crashes? Easy win lost? Frustrated? This idea fixes that. The way this works, is when your Minecraft disconnects or crashes, instead of quitting it leaves an NPC. This NPC cannot fight, but it holds your entire inventory and armor. If your NPC is killed, it counts as your death so it can't be abused by logging out in a fight, as the NPC can still be killed. The NPC acts as a normal player and can take fall damage, lava damage, drowning, etc. Think of it as an AFK player. The player who's crashed can log back in and continue playing.
Basically, in short.
Player leaves game, creates NPC which is basically like an AFK player
Player2 sees a player and kills the NPC.
Player comes back in and sees he's dead.
Or
Player leaves game, creates NPC which is basically like an AFK player
Player2 sees a player and runs away because player is decked.
Player comes back in and sees he's alive and continues playing after he crashes.
I honestly can't think of any cons of this idea, feedback/improvement/criticism?
