Nick, there is absolutely no need to record videos at 200fps xD Unless you want to get a file that is 20GB big and will take years to upload, unless you smallen the file with a video converter. Also, I do not reccomend spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a extremely good gaming computer just to play Minecraft on, Minecraft does not need a very good graphics card to run on high fps. I have an AMD Cataclyst graphics card that is 4 years old and can run Minecraft on 200+ fps on highest settings. But then again, I do play alot of other games other than Minecraft. Though, if you are willing to spend thousands of dollars on an extremely good gaming computer, I am not stopping you, I just reccomend you don't if you are only going to be playing Minecraft on it.

Thanks :)
I can pretty much only record minecraft because my computer can't run much.. :c

Are you going to want more then one monitor? There is really no REAL reason for gamers to have more then one except for convenience or playing games using all the monitors which is cool but ridicules. If your going to swing the money, I suggest maybe 2 monitors. One for your primary game and the other for the extra stuff. If your going to be recording then you can start the recording of the first monitor on the second so it can't be seen in the recording if you know what I mean. Otherwise it can all be done using one monitor.

Also, you don't need to buy EVERYTHING at once. You can get the key components plus a monitor and then when you get more money later, you can buy the second monitor or the second HD or whatever
Probably one moniter for the time being, might go to two later. This computer is going to be for gaming but I can also see me doing some schoolwork on it, because our laptops... So bad D:

Ok you can probably start working on making your list trying to find decent prices, buying when things are cheep. There are some helpful guides out there to help you with the detail like is this compatible this and so on. Just google it if you need to. Ill be on the forms if you need more help or want opinions. Just kind of build around your graphics card mostly. Get a motherboard that goes with your graphics card. Finding a case that will fit your graphics card and everything else. It's mostly just your preference but I'm here if you want opinions. :)

EDIT: build around your budget too. It's easy to go way beyond your set price when your working on what you need

if your budget is 1000 I wouldn't spend 400 dollars on a graphics card. For 150 dollars cheaper you can get the gtx 660 ti instead. This will give you highest settings on almost any game and also if you are going to play mostly games like minecraft you are going to want to spend the big money on the cpu instead.

If it can run games on full settings, I'd be happy. If it's cheaper. Even better. : D

Most of the high end rads will do what you want. Each game is different and as the next few years it'll most likely not be able to play the new games maxed out but what ever. It's more of a how long they'll be able to play new games with maxed settings

Yea you will be able to play most games at max settings and even in the future when the games get more complex you can add a second 660 ti for extra power

That is very true just make sure you get a mother bord that supports 2 graphics card (a motherboard with 2 PCI-E slots) and a case that will fit 2 graphics card. And even then if your computer gets to the point where it's having trouble playing newer games you can just buy a newer graphics card instead of buying a whole new computer.

make sure your computer is cooled enough with enough fans. U going to do liquid cooling? It's a little harder to do but your friend might know how to do it if his computer is liquid cooled. But I would suggest not doing it if you don't have someone who at least kind of knows what he/she is doing.
