Iron axe or wooden sword?

I'd go with an axe, but only because it does more damage. If it would be stone axe/wood sword, i'd prefer the sword.

Strafing usually helps me get them blockhitters, but wood sword on maps like solarfrost, breezes mountains. etc

Idk.... Iron axe I guess. More damage is always good.

Let's settle this, keep both in your inventory, attack with the axe. And block arrows and stuff with the sword. In my opinion, I would keep both in my item bar.
