Introducing MCSG Maker: Create custom unranked MCSG games!
On top of our popular MCSG system, we are adding the ability to create custom unranked MCSG games! This system allows you to play with friends or share new game styles with the community. Clans can also take advantage of this system by creating private clan matches with set rules to host tournaments. Our initial release is a beta, and will continue to improve over time, but here’s a list of some features the beta includes:
- Choose who can join your game— open it to the public, or leave it whitelisted and invite only
- Select any map from our rotation of currently playable maps
- Change up the game with Mutators—the mutators available in our first phase of beta are listed below, and the list of available mutators will only get larger as the beta progresses:
- Grace Period— configure a period at the beginning of the game where combat is disabled,
- Max Health— raise or lower the max health for players,
- Chest Tiering— force all chests to be tier 1 or tier 2,
- Start Time— configure the time of day the game will begin at,
- Game Length— change the maximum game length to be longer or shorter,
- Daylight Cycle— configure whether the daylight cycle is enabled,
- Hardcore Regeneration— can disable natural health regeneration, so health can only be regained by eating golden apples
Premium Members are allowed to host a number of free MCSG Maker games per day:
- Gold: 1 game per hour, with a limit of 5 games per day
- Diamond: 2 games per hour, with a limit of 10 games per day
- Platinum: 3 games per hour, with a limit of 20 games per day
- Quantum: 4 games per hour, with no limit on the number of games per day
Note: Credit purchases for custom servers are currently disabled, pending further testing. We will enable the ability to purchase a custom server with credits within the next few days.
