Since I already posted my story over 100 posts ago, I'm not gonna repost it. I already made my special mentions. This thread is going to be dedicated to a specific set of people. Phoenix.
This clan, no it was more than a clan. It was a type of family. We stuck together over the length of years. We still do to this very day in most aspects. Back in May-June of 2013, I was practically a nobody. Then Pegasus came along, made by thedorky1. I joined, met a lot of people and eventually became clan officer at the time we challenged Phoenix in the 2nd official AU Clan battle. Excluding Pegasus, I could say I was possibly one of the most hated players in AU. This clan battle turned everything around. I became friends with the Phoenix members, and 1 week after the clan battle I was a fully accepted member, on the 8th of July 2013. Not only did I turn my Au reputation around, I began forumming more actively, and gained a positive reputation with the entire community.
Months passed, around the end of 2013 Nick (darkrai202) gave me Phoenix Owner for a week XD. There was lots of banter between our clan, and I don't regret joining them whatsoever. Only issue I had is how I was treated some of the time, but I let it slide considering I was really close with every one of them. People told me I deserved better, and that hanging out with them was a bad influence. I didn't care. I enjoyed playing with them, and talking with them. I was kicked from the active roster due to inactivity and having the inability to win games, as I fell far behind the win requirement. I stayed with them as a member of their group though. It's been roughly 2 years since then, and our group has barely changed whatsoever, with some members joining or leaving.
As my 1000th post I just want to thank Phoenix and specifically Nick and Jake for allowing me to join Phoenix, as I almost certainly wouldn't be still if it wasn't for them allowing me to join the clan, as I would have given up on the game.
Another 2 people I want to thank are Damo and Tyrelle, for probably being some of the best friends I have ever met in this community. We stuck together and it was sad for everyone when Tyrelle left the community for the reasons he did. Damo was the great lad who bought me diamond donor initially, and we had great times. Pranking Phoenix by playing it off as if Damo had travelled to South Africa and all the great times with the #DaLebzz crew.
