Dear the people of MCGamer/MCSG,
For anyone reading this that doesn't know me, my name is Cat/ Catty/ FjRI/ NoHaxJustLarry and this is going to be my goodbye thread. I'm not 'quitting' mcsg as such, but by the time I post this thread, I will have won 200 games on my main account since the reset and my plan all along was to stop using my main account at this point. Since late 2014, I found myself immersed in the happenings of this community and it is pretty sad to be leaving this place just after one year. Offline life was fairly average when I first started joining the community and I looked forward to playing on the servers with my newly made friends. For the first time in a long time, I have realised how much more important it is for me to secure a stable offline life and I know that I honestly can't continue with friendships online knowing how close I am to exams and whatnot in the next couple of years.
Having said that, I will still be more than happy to come on ts/mc whenever I'm free but nowdays it's become less and less of something I actually want to do/can do.
Unfortunately my Internet access is also being very restricted from now on which makes finding time to play pretty difficult.
One thing I have learnt is that people shouldn't sweat their stats. It doesn't matter if you have 5 wins or 5000- just have fun. All that stats prove is how much time you spend playing and whether or not you use a client/ boost.
Honestly, as sad or whatever as it is, I could go on forever recounting all the fun I had losing touch of reality on teamspeaks and on Skype, but it would take far too long. Instead, I'd like to make a few quick noteable mentions of some people and clans that have made my time here so amazing.
Firstly I'd like to thank various people in Apex for introducing me to the more competitive side of mcsg. I know I was hardly around for long but I was definitely influenced by some of the members c; I guess that labelling you guys apex/philosophy will give you a pretty good idea as to who I'm referring to. I never took the game very seriously up until the point where I came on your teamspeak servers and I'm glad I learnt how to use bow and play like a defensive kid lmao. All beef aside, you guys were cool and it felt nice having people to trust and respect (the respect aspect mostly going to the staff of apex). The abuse that eventually became part of the reason apex disbanded was totally uncalled for and kinda shocking in my opinion.
Secondly, I would like to thank any moderators that have helped me out. People don't say thanks to mods enough. Even though there are times I look down on the team, it's definitely important to appreciate the time you put in, since I know I would never be able to dedicate that much of myself to an online game. However, I will never be able to forgive the decision to kick out Vanessa. She was easily the most respected female mcsg player and I'm at a total loss why you would want to lose someone like her.
I sincerely hope she's having a better life without being tethered down to this server.
Thirdly, I would like to say a big thanks to all the fellow females I have met through MCGamer. It made me feel less alone to see that my own gender was playing mc also.Don’t ever let tryhard sweaty boys tell you that you can’t play a block game as well as they can.
Fourthly I would like to thank all my friends. I know that this is a fairly loose term since 'friend' could apply to a lot of people. However, I've Skyped so many people and accumulated so many memories that it's impossible to list them all. Thankyou to all the people who have me on Skype and have spent time talking to me (and hopefully not ddossing me). I'll always try my best to talk to anyone that might want to.
Lastly, I would like to make a list of people who have made my time here so wonderful:
- Lebron12 : I guess it's important to mention you since you've always had respect for my opinions on things and been happy to share your own perspective. Thanks for putting up with me when I'm grumpy and I hope to still see you and the rest of Savage around on ts if I can come on at all
- Jordyy : although I'm pretty sure you used me for wins and such, I still had a good time being your friend. You were probably one of my first close online friends and I had lots of fun talking ;3
- WinniePlaysMC / S1kBruZZ/other people who ran vast that I talked to sometimes: Lemme just say that Vast was a tip top server and in fact, my first pvp server. I never spoke to you guys until after Vast went down but I really appreciated the feeling of you two being there when I was feeling unhappy at times. Thankyou very much.
- Cindyy / Steph/ Jess/ Serena + Jas, etc.: used to talk to you guys and play with you plenty. You guys were so sweet to me and Cindy's rage and bizarre use of profanity always made me laugh. I'm still subbed to you Steph ;0 and Jess, you'll always be better than me at fns rip. I remember the koala onesies and the capes, and Jas buying me a cape!!! o3o thanku so much Jas , I see stuff about you and Sam every day on twitter ! I hope all you guys are going well and thankyou for the fun times;D
- Lamborghini /Aayden: although I didn't talk to either of you as much as some of the other people I mentioned, I still thought you guys were pretty awesome and you always made me laugh. I'll miss the funny rages and the swearing + minor abusiveness xD ;3 Good luck with ur parsley c;
- GoudAlmighty : there's really far too much to say here other than I appreciated you so much. I know I probably annoyed you lots and swore too much and probably let you down. And that is one of the reasons I feel too guilty to be your friend. But, I want you to know that you're probably the one person that made me stay as long as I did. As hard as it'll be to stop talking to you, I know it'll be best for both of us and thankyou so much for everything you've done for me. You're probably one of the nicest people to exist. Bacca tem forever, man. I wish you the best and I hope that if I'm ever to come back, you'll still be here. P.s. Always eager to listen to songs you like since your taste is on point.
- snochet65 : you were a nice guy to talk to and your laugh is kinda stupid ngl (jk no hate). You're probably the only moderator who I wouldn't mind being perm muted by c:. Ty for being nice to me the times that you were.
- SheIsAGoldDigga : I’d say that we were pretty good friends a fair while ago c:! You always had lots of respect for people's feelings but you held your own too. I'm really happy that you've put some energy towards your offline life lately and I'm wishing you all the luck I can. I still remember Quantum and that first time I spoke to you on skype on sg highway lmao. OMG REMEMBER U AND HANNAH OMG hahahHAh I JUST REMEMBERED THAT PLEASE DONT HATE ME AHAHAHAH dude oMg. Anyway, peace c;
- Lussh / Katie: I related to you a lot and you were very chill to talk to. I kinda wish I joined the community earlier when you were still into mcsg but idm too much because I'm so glad you found happiness with Clarke and I'll never forget the courage you gave me to make friends with 'American boys'. Thanks for being an awesome girl Also forgot to mention UR RLLY PRETTYY KMSSS
- Zackyy: I only met you fairly recently and it's a big shame because I could have seen myself hanging out with you and Ali and stuff a lot more than I did. Nonetheless, thankyou for being a friendly guy :3
- Thedorkyd1 : literally met you like a week ago but if I can ever come on ts, I'll try to come on Nuggetz where you'll be. You have the honour of being legitimately the only person giving a crap and trying to help me out lately. 'Contrary to popular belief', just a few nice messages have touched me so much, so here's a big thankyou <3

I've probably left you off this list if I severely dislike you, I totally forgot about you or I don't know you.
Also special mention to some of the well-known US players who won't ever see this but I've spoken to on ts like once and then been too scared to ask to again xD
If anyone is actually still reading this far, it's probably important to note that I'm not actually completely quitting. I'll be playing from time to time on my alt but I'm afraid that the tryhard days are over for me. The game is repetitive, abuse is everywhere and hackers are in nearly every game. Badlion is where it's all at for me but even that gets boring at times.
Once again, I would like to say a very big thankyou to everyone that has been a part of this journey with me! I will undoubtedly miss this server but at the same time, I think that moving onwards will be a better choice for me. I almost forgot to say that- Mcsg has forever made me appreciate the beauty of the various accents people have around the world!!
