There was an attack in Paris on Friday evening and honestly I have never been so shocked, Terrorists holding innocent men, women and children hostage in a theatre? It's the last place I would ever assume something like this happening,

The gunmen killed 80 people and took dozens hostage at the Bataclan concert hall, not only was that the case, they finally reported 127 people dead in Paris. It's unheard of, no one in their right mind would gun down innocent people, let alone children. These gunman can not even be named as human. They're nothing but scum, this is what happens when we allow crazed people from countries such as Syria cross our borders without doing any background checks, in my opinion, this would never have happened if the French didn't open their doors and let people cross into their country so easily.

Anyway that is my own opinion, the reason this thread exists is because things like this happen within this world countless times and I think this is a good place for us to discuss the way we feel about this horrifying incident in Paris.

#PrayForParis
#LifeIsPrecious

(This is simply my opinion, none of what I said is aimed at any one individual person!)

What the terrorists did, no normal human being would do that.. You literally need to be sick in the head to do something like that.

Yes, what happened in Paris is a tragedy. We should all give our condolences to anyone affected by the foolish attacks. However, Paris was not the only one affected yesterday.

Mexico was hit with the hardest hurricane that ended up also causing an Earthquake.

There was a 7.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Southwest Japan, and now there are tsunami warnings throughout the area.

A pair of suicide bombers attacked a funeral in Baghdad. 18 were killed and 41 were injured. ISIS claimed responsibility as the funeral was for someone who fought against ISIS.

A pair of suicide bombers attacked a busy street in Beirut, Lebanon's capital, killing at least 41 and injuring 181 others. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. It's been the city's deadliest bombing since their civil war ended 25 years ago.

And now, London's Gatwick Airport is being evacuated after a bomb scare in the North Terminal. ISIS is threatening in unconfirmed tweets that London could be next for attacks.

So yes, we should #PrayForParis. But we should also #PrayForMexico, #PrayForJapan, #PrayForBaghdad, #PrayForBeirut, and possibly #PrayForLondon.

Note: This is in no way to support what happened in Paris, or bash on them for having the spotlight, I'm just putting it out there that Paris was not the only place affected.

I have no words to express how disgusted I am toward all types of terrorist groups, especially the ones who acted last night but we must keep in mind that these groups do not represent all members of their countries or religions, which I feel a lot of people have begun to stereotype toward.

Just be mindful of how we all perceive people, because not everyone Muslim or Middle Eastern is in ISIS.

Exactly, I have met many people that Muslim and my sister is even married to a Muslim, there are some great people in this world. As you said, not everyone in the Middle East is a Terrorist, as some people so dull mindedly say.

I stayed up until 4 am this morning talking to some IRL French friends of mine. It's tough.
Fun fact: they succeded into their goal: spreading terror all over the world.

Lol wtf I'm not scared of them.

As Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto said, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."

I'd like to see them try.

I find it utterly shocking that not only they have the sheer audacity to commit these atrocities but the fact that they say it's in the name of God. I am absolutely outraged at this and whatever threats they pose on my home city London are absolutely not tolerated.

I send my condolences to the families of all victims. #Pray4Paris

EDIT: I also thoroughly agree with Ceroria. Our perceptions of Muslims and of Islam as a religion must not change. These monsters are not Islamic, nor are they human infact.

Stop with these hashtags, they're so annoying. I understand it's sad that France got attacked by terrorists but why spam those stupid hashtags everywhere? Every Minecraft server is full of them and it's getting out of hand and is really annoying.
