Should this be implemented?

Hello tributes,

I am on the Teamspeak Every Single Day, I know I'm nerd, but anyway on to the topic at hand.. As you can see by the title, I am suggesting that the Sr. Staff should allow Swearing/Cussing in the VIP/Map Maker lounge, the reason I am suggesting this is because I and many people have slipped up and cussed in the lounges, and we have received a nice slap on the wrist.

It is technically not a public channel due to the fact that only a limited amount of people can join, the people I talk to on a day to day basis are either Map Makers or Moderators as you can see none of them are regular members.

Myself and the other Map Makers have been discussing the ruling on swearing in the Map Maker lounge, and we think that it should be changed to "You can swear within a Map Maker lounge, as long as everyone within the channel is okay with it. And when another user joins you must ask them for permission!"

Every single Map Maker or Moderator I talk to is of a Mature age, and are able to swear, therefore they don't really care about cussing as they've heard it all before!

(This thread is not to cause flame it is simply a suggestion from Myself and others.)

Thank you for taking your time to read the thread and leave your opinions below.
(Excuse my bad Grammar, I'm tired c; )

I believe that this was suggested at a Staff Meeting and declined mainly because VIP/Map-Maker channels are still considered public channels because any channel that regular members are able to access including VIPs are still considered as public channels therefore swearing is not allowed.

We have a limited amount of VIP's and Map Makers, so there's hardly anyone in there, I don't see what the huge issue with it is? I don't want to be moved to a mod chat just to be able to swear.

I mean, it is a channel exclusively for VIP's & Map-makers, so if everyone in the channel is fine with it, I don't see why not.

I definitely think the Senior Staff should consider it!

First before I say my opinion I wanted to say yes you are a nerd. But anyways, I think this is a really good idea. If you think about it VIP/Map-Maker channels are kind of like Moderator channels. By that I mean only a certain group of people are allowed to join it but they can get their friends moved up as well. Also another thing I want to add is most VIPS/Map- makers that are active on the Teamspeak are 15 and above. But yeah that's my opinion.

When I joined the mcsg ts for the first time I thought everyone would swear and ignore the rule, but damn, everyone is so polite.
I'm not even VIP or smth but I think these private channels are a place to chill and be yourself. Tbh, you should just say whatever you want there as long as everyone is ok with it.

Yes! It is very difficult to not to swear in those channels when 99% of the people who join the VIP/Map Maker Lounges when I am in there are my friends, and I shouldn't have to change myself just because of a channel. Also I am 24 years old. I don't curse or swear at someone, it half the time is if I hurt myself or I do something stupid in a game. Most know that we can't swear in the donor/non donor channels. We understand that because there are still a lot of younger people in those channels.

Plus it is not like donors or non donors can join, only VIP/Map makers and above can, and most only join those channels that they know the people. Most of the map makers/vips are older now a days, there aren't as many younger people that do have the rank that are active on the ts.

I think if anyone was offended by what the person said while cursing, most would just say it out that they were. If we don't know everyone in the channel we just don't cause most of us know how to be mature.

Those channels are really used for us to chill with our friends, just talk, play games. Just somewheres where we know(or at least hope) that trollers can't join and ruin our time.
