Hello Tributes,
Calling out to all US MCSG players! Today we have another exciting announcement for all of you! The staff has created a brand new event, a twist on the classic MCSG formula where teamwork and calculated risks are they key to victory. And in the spirit of the up-coming July Fourth celebration, we have added to the festivities with an MCSG twist on Protect the President.
The Requirements For The Event
- Be able to access the MCGamer Teamspeak
- Be a member of the US community
- Be around at the time of the event
- Have a working microphone
Summary of Play:
The U.S. Presidential Games is a variation of Protect the President. Players will be randomly assigned into one of the twelve teams of four players. In each team, one player will be designated the President while the others will be designated as Guards. Prior to the games beginning, each team will be put in their own separate Teamspeak Channel so that teams may communicate with each other for the duration of the games.The objective of the game is to kill the other players to boost your team's score, while keeping your President alive. There will be two rounds played: the first round will be of all twelve teams, while the second round will be of the top six teams. After both rounds have ended, the scores of each team across both rounds will be tallied; the team with the highest score wins the event!
General Gameplay Rules:
- Each non-team kill is equivalent to 1 additional point for the team.
- Killing an opposing President is equivalent to 1 additional point per team.
- In deathmatch, each kill is equivalent to 2 points for the team.
- After a team has their President killed, they can no longer score additional points for their team.
- If a guard has their President killed, they are to act as rogue agents whom will attack and harass other teams for the duration of the game. They cannot help any additional team nor form any truces lest they be ejected from the games.
- The top 6 teams from the first round will be elevated to the second round.
- After the second round, the scores of each team from BOTH rounds are tallied together, and the team with the highest scores overall are declared the winners.
Rules Of Event
- No cross teaming or combining teams, if we catch any sort of that you and possibly your team will be removed from the games. Rogue Guards whose President is killed can team with their fellow team's guards, but they cannot team up with other teams.
- Follow all MCGamer rules during the event, including being kind to all (No trash-talking).
- Staff and Administration have the right to act in anyway needed if action needs to be taken.
Note: If I or any staff member catches you breaking these rules you will be removed from the match and punished accordingly!

I Applied, What Happens Now?
Before you read this please look below, there we have the dates and times posted of when certain things will go down. But after you submit your application on June 29th your teams will be picked and inboxed to you.

- July 4th: Closing Of Applications.
- July 7th: Teams Will Be Posted On This Thread And Inboxed To Participating Members
- Flame will not be tolerated.
- Players are encouraged to play games together in order to practice.

- July 11th: Deadline For Picking Team Captains. Teams Will Be Inboxed Procedures For Event
- July 13th: Event Starting!
- July 14th: Event Has Come To A Close And Awards Are Given Out
