The Story Behind Your IGN

My IGN is the most original thing I could think of on the spot when the name changes were released.

Hey,
So, a couple of days ago I saw a conversation about where everyone got their Profile Pictures from. That made me start to think about another common conversation I've seen on other forums.
By playing Minecraft (and games in general) you'll eventually run into people having strange, funny and/or creative usernames. Each and everyone who have a username usually have a story behind it as well.
Out of interest I would like to ask all of you;

Where did you got your IGN from and what's the story behind it?
(I was looking through the forum and couldn't find a similar conversation. If it does, I'm pretty sure it's so old it's better to create a new one...)

To start this of I'll tell you the story behind my IGN:

My current IGN is TheParrot, and the story behind that name comes from my previous IGN, which also used to be my forums username.
When I bought Minecraft I did it in order to play with my friends. I've never been creative when it comes to picking names. Because of that I spent quite some time trying to think of one. I ended up with the IGN parrot757. My favorite restaurant had the mascot of a parrot, and my lunch number at school was 757. When I got a little bit older, I wanted a cleaner, better-looking username. I decided to make the P in parrot capital, take the 757 out of it, and add "The" in front of it so It would be like I was the one and only Parrot. Now that I think about it, the nostalgia of parrot757 is real, and when I wish I still had it, I also wish I don't. And then the Minecraft name changes came out, so my name became TheParrot.

akash754 - Used to play a game called Poptropica, akash5 was taken (5 was my favorite number at the time) and so it gave me this suggested name thing and "akash754" was one of them. So now 754 is my favorite number and I've stuck with the name since "ZincMC"

ZincMC - just tried to think of a cool name, I liked science a lot and yeah.

I really dont have a story I just have a friend called TheLichDB and I told Her I'll be TheLichBD so that's why Haha but I use TheLichDB in forums in Her honor hahah but of course she agree Haha

I watched survivalgames videos of Youtubers long before I actually had a minecraft account myself.
So when I planned to buy an account, I already created a skin: it was a Panda-Skin.
So when it came to choosing my IGN I tried Panda (wow I was a big Naberlioner ) - Of course it was taken.
I tried to add the first letter of my Name (JPanda) - taken. So I tried other animals (JTiger) - taken, JLion - taken.
I was so annoyed and sick of searching for other animals that I started adding suffixes to the name.
When I tried to add "er" is finally gave me the message: "Available" and I was so happy that I just took it.
JLioner was born. Rawrrr

I was a big fan of the hunger games and I really liked Katniss' character. I also had a friend who loved the trilogy as well and she really liked Peeta. One day she called me Lisniss, I replied calling her Hanneeta. Ever since, Lisniss has stuck with me for nearly 3 years.

My first ign was MAKAYLALEANNE. I wasn't overly creative in choosing my username so I just used my first and middle name. I made it in all caps because I figured it would draw more attention to the name.

My other ign is Makayla which is just my name so there's not really anything creative in that either, but I do feel lucky to have gotten that username when name changes came out.

My new ign is makaybear which was a nickname I adapted throughout my childhood from friends and family. I decided it was very cute and creative so it is the ign I choose to play under. :3

i started mcsg with the name DQIX1 (a stupid name that i came up with back then dont judge me)

after playing for a bit back in 2012 i met a girl named Skettched and i talked to her for a while, and she started calling me Dairy Queen, then shortened it to DQ.

i dont think it matters what username i have at this point, pretty sure i'll always be known as dq
