This is an interesting question. I honestly don't know exactly what I would do with on million... I would firstly tithe it and then invest around 600k into stable funds for things like paying off retirement and other later in life expenses. After that, I would pay off college, donate to charity, and give some to friends and family. After that, I would most likely have around 50k left over. This money would go into a checking account which I would use for spending money.

All of this is assuming no taxes.

Here is what I would do
Give 300k to my parents to tell them thank you for everything

Set aside 400k in my bank account, and then take 100k invest in stocks, and use the 200k for living costs for a few years.

I would take 250k for luxuries and invest 750k in the stock market. One million isn't a comfortable amount of money to live off of so I would try to make major profits in the stock market.

Firstly, I would buy tickets for my whole family to Canada, Toronto. (Somewhere around 3k)

Then, I would spend 30k for PC Setup (gotta get dat GTX Titan) and games, 20k for PS3 stuff and games.
With the other money I would buy bubblegums.
