yeah we chose it as the poem is about how even if you rise to greatness eventually people wont remember (aka ozymandias king of kings eventually only remembered through the plaque on the statue) and in the map its the ancient city buried in the desert in ruinsI remember studying the Ozymandias poem in English a year or two ago, I believe the two legs of stone are the remaining of a statue to Ramses or something similar. Fun fact.
so far I have Directed/planned the projects up to this point but in the future some others may take over, glad you liked it man! its 24 but we may do a 48 version as wellLove it!
Whoever directs/plans the builds/project is really talented, everything just works!
Not keen on desert maps because it has this haunty feel, but I guess I'll get over that.
Good job! +1
EDIT: Is is 24 or 48 player?
I think the builds may look a little too small because the concept of the map is "A City Buried in Sand", so most of the buildings are half covered by sand. I imagine maybe if you go inside some of the buildings they may extend under ground.I usually love the Red Forest maps. It may just be the screenshots being in a short render distance, or it may be true, but I feel as though the map has too little builds, or too little structures. I would like to see screenshots in a 16 render distance possibly. And yes, I did watch the trailer (high quality as always). Good luck with it getting accepted anyways! Ninetailefox92
Yeah they extend into the caverns belowI think the builds may look a little too small because the concept of the map is "A City Buried in Sand", so most of the buildings are half covered by sand. I imagine maybe if you go inside some of the buildings they may extend under ground.
I could be completely wrong though... O.O
