Grammy Awards 2015 - Thoughts

Hey Everyone!

So the Grammys just happened, there are some disappointments and surprises.
Here are some disappointments for me...

• Kanye attempted to crash Beck's acceptance speech, he did this to Taylor Swift in 2009 (I think).
• Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj did not perform.
• Ariana Grande and Iggy did not win anything despite them having massive successful years.

Apart from that, seemed like a mediocre award show, wouldn't liked to see more performances, not stand and sing .

I think it's a complete disgrace that Run the Jewels didn't even get nominated for genre-specific awards, let alone the album of the year award that they, in my opinion, should have won

Sam Smith won too many things when to be honest his singing isn't worthy of that many awards. Not saying that he's a bad singer, but he didn't deserve the 3+ awards he got. Also, I feel that Ariana Grande and/or Maroon 5 should have gotten something considering they've had a combined 10+ top ten hits the last year. Overall, it was poor choices on the winners and those who deserved to win got unfair judgement.

Your first point is wrong. It was a prank Kanye was doing. There was an interview with him and he sounded serious about a certain topic but I think that was just a joke as well.

Iggy and Nikki are complete trash

Iggy deserved not to win because she's trash. Ariana could've won something, but unfortunately didn't.

I thought the performances were nice and I was happy to see who won their awards, such as Sam Smith winning 4 awards, and Beck coming out of nowhere from the past and winning Best Album of the Year. Also I thought Kanye's performance was the best performance I have ever seen, such a twist having a rapper like this singing a song by Paul McCartney.

What makes them trash? Calling them trash without a reason doesn't justify anything.
Also, Beck deserved that Best Album Of The Year, he was the only one who produced his album, Beyonce had 12 producers.
Kanye said he destroys "Artistry" or something like that, that's completely false.
