They told him he was wrong, that everyone deserves a second chance, and that a change in policy would be unfair on those who do actually reform after the first ban. But for reasons he listed in this thread 10 MONTHS AGO, those who do reform are in a serious minority.

Maybe people should actually listen to him in the future instead of citing the same flawed arguments over and over again. Truly a man ahead of his time.

To be fair, there was no data at the time. The arguments made sense with the limited knowledge people had. I knew personally some people that were banned once for hacking but became legit players, so that's what I based my opinion on.

Honestly, very few hackers are incorrectly banned. I can also add that we do know what a hacker is and how to find one. Also, considering it is a permanent ban now, we are going to be doing some extra things in order to assure more accurate bans.
