EU Clans have the same rights as US Clans to be in this event. Does it say anywhere on the thread that it's for US clans only? Clan Wars Season 3 had three EU clans and in my opinion they did perfectly fine.

Probably, but that is how clan wars is. It's not easy to setup a server and have everything run smoothly.
