Just gonna let you all know of a little trick to get better framerate on 1.8.

Go to Video Settings
Turn "Use VBO's" on. Your graphics card may not support it.
You should get higher framerate than before. I know I do.

Now I think about, when 1.7 PvP came out I thought it was crap. But in the end I've got use to it and really enjoy it. So I guess we're just gonna have to get use to 1.8

1.8 isnt as bad as people think. 1.8.1 came out recently, and if not you still have 1.8.0. + optifine + You can allocate more memory to minecraft. I mean I dislike some maps on the server. Do I leave when they get voted? No, I play through it. Play through the early versions of 1.8. 1.7.9 is the MOST unstable build i've ever had to play with, People complained then. People complained with 1.6, 1.5. Time to stop complaining and start doing
