Announced South America servers? But where are them?

Well, about 1 and a half months ago Chad announced a possibility to host MCSG servers at South America. He said they would probably be hosted at Brazil, which is the country I live at. That's why I got hyped, I could finnaly get OP ping.
The thing is, I haven't heard of anything about it since Chad tweeted, does anyone know anything?

Chad promised the leaderboard update and it's still not here yet, he promised the new website still not here yet. Imagine how long it will take to get SA

Please, understand updates do take a while as we only have 6 Developers and each does its own unique work.

If it was announced there will be a possibility of South American Servers, understand its just a possibility and that if they indeed come, it will take some time.

As previously mentioned by Scott, the developer team, and the administrators are currently undergoing discussion for it. And even if they do agree upon making South American servers, just by hosting it will take countless hours.
