fishing rod does damage

incase you didnt know already -

we all know, the usual fishing rod trick (ie. to knock players back to get combos). However a little known fact is that the fishing rod, believe it or not does damage.

If you hit a player with a rod and fast switch to your sword and hit with your sword (this sword hit doesn't necessarily have to be in the opponent) it will do 1/2 of damage. This 1/2 of damage is a 'silent' hit in that all the player sees is them getting hit by the rod and then taking damage. (This works best when the player is running towards you.)

What is the use of this:
.For a start this silent hit can occur at a much larger range then that of a normal sword hit.
.You can lower an opponents health without them even being aware of it.
.If you go into each fight by starting it with a fishing rod hit then you gain a 1/2 advantage over them
. Many other uses which I cba going in to....

This is pretty interesting information! Yet again, we can still give damage to our opponents if we left-click them with out fishing rod in hand if they are in close range. ;P
