I would change the fact that anyone and everyone can become a moderator, even me a perm banned player could easily acquire moderator. All it takes is an ip change and a decently written moderator application. I've known many people who were mod and should not have been. I think they should change what it takes to obtain moderator make it to where you need to have a certain amount of posts on the forums or a certain amount of report abuses made etc. I see so many staff in the hub who just mindlessly sit there and don't bother to help the people in need and I'm not saying moderators don't do their job because that is not true most of them do the job very well. I just think they should make it to where it actually requires some work and that way people won't just get it for the flashy red name and the blue text. Also maybe make a trial mod rank that way the more trusted mods and the senior mods can watch them and make sure they're actually doing what they applied to do. I know my opinion probably isn't much but I thought I would put it out there.

12 year olds simply do not have the maturity level to become a staff member, three may be some rare occurrences.

As you get older maturity seriously builds up. I look back at the things I did when I was 12, and I just realize how stupid I was back then. Starting from 13 1/2, is when maturity seriously starts to hit you, and you have an intuitive knowledge of right vs wrong. MCSG reacted in the correct way: Chad knew that people start to mature at 13 1/2, so why not make the minimum age 14/15? That simple. However MCSG acknowledges the fact that there are people who mature earlier than others. This is what the age exception process is for. If it wasn't already hard enough for 14 year olds to get it, you need to be a insanely mature/responsible 13 year old in order to get mod, and to talk about a 12 year old getting it? It just doesn't work.....I mean, you may be a great moderator, but your grammar/way of speech doesn't indicate any sign of a great moderator. I would suggest being a part of the community, and helping out until your 13, and then go for the age exception process.

To have the position as a Moderator takes great responsibility. A 12 year old simply does not hold enough maturity in themselves to hold the Moderator position. On rare occurrences there may be an extremely mature 12 year old, but it is vary rare.

What I personally think they should change about the applications is that it is necessary to have posted 10+ abuse reports before you apply- this is a way of assuring you have knowledge of punishments and when it is appropriate to report someone. If someone has not post any abuse reports before they apply, if they get to the 'Interview' stage they would have had no prior knowledge to banning someone accordingly or how to use the Abuse Report system, which is a massive downfall. If someone has posted 22 abuse reports it is clear to the Senior Staff that they have some sort of knowledge of the system and inevitably improving their chances slightly. I don't want to seem like I have a heart of stone, but this is just my suggestion, in no way shape or form am I criticizing the current application process. I am also not saying that if you haven't posted any abuse reports that your chances of becoming Moderator are slim, it just helps you to know how to use the system.
