Ahem, I've seen experienced mids and sr. mods just lock a thread and then tell the owner to post it in the media section. Afterall, it is against the rules, it is equally illegal as hacking.

Anyway, some people would do that, however that's not how Avaline "rolls". It just depends on the mod, and we've become significantly more lenient on just locking threads left and right, we're not monsters you know
