Easy ways to get alerts

Generally, as you're more active on the forums, you tend to get more alerts.
I've been in TeamSpeak and Skype chats with people who get excited over 8 alerts. In fact, once I heard someone squeal (a male, surprisingly) over two alerts.

So, here's a few easy ways to get alerts.

Profile Posts and Statuses
Example:

For convenience, I'll just refer to them as Profile Posts.
Whenever you post on a profile post, you automatically "Watch" that profile post, and will receive an alert for each and every post that someone makes on it, unless you delete all of your comments, and thus "un-watch" it. If you comment on one that has a chance of a lot of discussion, that's like five or more free alerts.

Watching Forums
Example:

A "Forum" refers to any section on the forums. Thus, why we call it the MCSG Forums, not just the MCSG Forum. It's plural.
I only realized this recently, but you can opt to receive an alert every time a message or new thread is posted in the forum(s) that you follow. In case you're one of the people that might be wondering if this is how I get like 40 alerts a day, it's not. I only found out about this method a few days ago, and not for the purposes of getting alert spammed.

Generally, unless you want hundreds of alerts a day that you might not really care about, just opt to receive alerts for New Threads.

Likes
Put simply, you receive an alert for every single like that you receive. Ever.
So yeah, I've gotten like seven thousand alerts just from those. ._.
To receive likes, something that you can do is post funny stuff, or a lot of profile posts. (Don't use this method to get likespammed, please. No me gusta.)

Sadly, that's how I got to 500 posts..counting to 1k before Chad posts is a cheap way of doing so. Fortunately, I only posted like 15-20 posts on that, but still... :/

Yeah, but you actually have to do stuff, and post. This is a lot easier and requires less effort

Yeah well, I think lots of former "Active Members" used to be Forum Games spammers, and Im no exeption, some realized it sooner than others.

I only watch the Announcement sections, because I don't care about half the stuff in other sections. What's New is good enough for me.
