I would imagine a thread like this has been made somewhere in time on these forums (+1 if you link me to the original thread). Nevertheless, in this thread, post your PC specifications. If you want to include your full build layout, then that's fine, but aim more for vital PC parts (like CPU, GPU, etc).

Mine are;

Desktop:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3960X @ 3.9 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX Titan
Case: Corsair 900D
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x8GB
HDD: Western Digital Black 2TB
PSU: Corsair AX760 Platinum
(I do editing so that's why I have a semi-workstation build for my rig)

Laptop (Toshiba Satellite P50t-A):
CPU: Intel Core i7 4700MQ @ 2.4 GHz
GPU: nVidia GeFore GT 745M
RAM: 8GB something-or-other
HDD: 1TB something-or-other

This thread makes me cry ;-; I have an HP desktop on the WAY lower end of the PC spectrum... I hope to be able to upgrade soon!
Same xD. I can usually never read specs. Lol. They are always too confusing for me. :p

With specs like that you should definitely get faster ram. I'd recommend the same ram I have: gskill ripjaw x series DDR3-1866. Also, you might need a higher wattage power supply to run that CPU and GPU at full force.
