Minecraft is a special game. latter genartaions may look down on it and wondeer what on earth we were thinging by playiong it but for me it will always have a special place in my heart.
I hope minecraft will become an important part of gaming history and will continue to be played for decades to come.

I think five years from now, Minecraft will be seen as kicking off the indie game trend and for making blockly/ pixel games popular. There is already many games like minecraft, and 7 million people have bought it. so yeah, it'll still be popular/have a place in gaming history. and it will be on update 2.1
