I found the gameplay really boring, as the game is normally over in like 5 minutes. That's not something I find very fun; everyone gets killed really fast and there's no pacing to the map. If I ever managed to get a kill on the map I normally was instantly killed from behind as the map was really small.

And from an asthetic design standpoint, I didn't find it very impressive either.
True enough, but as the Survival Games are evolving, I find more people wanting PvP enhanced maps, and Lost Mine brings that to the table.

That's where we disagree. "Good PvP" is a relative term. I dislike the PvP of Lost Mine because it's extremely cramped and there's not a lot of space to use varying tactics. I personally don't find back to back to back skirmishing as good PvP, I like a map with variance in terrain and design so that different types of styles and strategies are viable. Others disagree.

I understand what you're saying, but I think what I meant was that there is never a boring part of Lost Mine. There is constant PvP which makes it exhilarating and overall more fun for a lot of people. I agree, the map isn't the best for PvP as in fighting teams and such. Referring to your next point, think about Solar Frost. A lot of it is the same no matter what part of the map you go on, but people still love it because of the constant fighting.

I see what you're saying, and I think that if it were say 2012 december then most people would agree... Unfortunately, PvP is a big aspect in MCSG now :/

Don't get me wrong; PvP is important to me. I just don't like the type of PvP that's in those maps. I'm fine with maps like SG4, because there's adequate space, varying terrain in the forests, streets, corn, etc. I just don't like the kind of PvP Lost Mine or Solar Frost have.

I agree, it's really ennoying to pvp in solar frost with the snow and stuff. The only reason i like the map is because it's short and i love short games!

I don't understand why they can't just remove the OP items and then put the map back into MSCG...
It's stated in the guidelines of our map submission rules. No implementation of OP items. They broke the rules by putting an OP item in Ergo, the punishment was that the map was removed.

This rule was never before. They were asked for a copy free of OP items, and ThatOneTomahawk did gave them one. However, the update was never implemented. And, talking about OP items... Doesn't Vida Cova has some? —I mean, they didn't place them, but its said in the rules, and rules are rules... :p

Well, it never technically says what the punishment has to be. I guess it's up to a staff decision what to do about it.

And, its unfair. There should be just one punishment, not a different punishment for each case; all in all its the same rule being broken.
