Melasian Plane Missing

Ok so in my history class we do this thing called modern day news, and one of the kids in my class brought in a news story of the Melasian plane that has been missing for the past week. There was 239 people on the plane and somehow it just went missing. Some of the things that I found kind of suspicious about this incident was that there were to people who stole passports to get into that plane and the other thing is that there was 2 gps on the plane and right before they were turned off someone on the plane sent a message saying good night. This is turning into a very big thing in the world and I was wanting to know what you guys think about it and how it happened.

I think they took the airplane, brought it to an island and killed everyone, then taking their stuff and went away. That's what I think.
