Scrolling VS HotKey

Scrolling is easier for some, like me because if you are good, you are hard to beat. EVen with hotkeys, they work but sometimes mess up. Overall, I use scrolling just because you can easily access all of your slots and I have mastered it

I hotkey my FnS but scroll to my rod. In my honest opinion they both work fine

I use my scroll wheel for my fishing rod, but it's so unreliable :c

Like I preveously said, I personally think that having golden apples in my 9 slot is better because you can reach them MUCH quicker, so now I have my arrows in my 5th slot and Gapples in my 9th slot. Also, I used to have my good food from bad food (left to right) go in my inventory but now it goes the opposite way because now I started to scroll backwards.

Personally I think hotkeys are better for these reasons:

• Near-instant access to first 4+ slots- allows for rod spam, fast fns and easier switching mid-fight in general
• Small chance of messing up
• Don't have to be aware of what slot you have selected

The one downside to using hotkeys is that you absolutely need to put your weapons in the right slot- for this reason I think it's important to be at least competent at scrolling in case you're in a situation where you aren't able to sort out your inventory. This also helps with accessing the other half of your hotbar.
