The Docs used for the voting have been posted in the main post, the "Community Votes" should be explained there.

I'm probably really stupid but those docs made it even more confusing. Explanation anyone pls :s

It appears as there were two rounds of voting from the judges.
In the first round, one judge was absent and it was for all the maps, before the top 25 were chosen.

In the second round, it was the points added up from all of the judges.

I still don't understand why they did this. Like, why did their opinion change from the first round to the second. I'm not complaining but just stating that in the first round, Paradise Valley was third from the judges. But in the second round, or score drastically dropped, like their opinions changed with no maps added in between, leaving us with a total of fourth.

I am still happy with 4th, and congrats to Yodenheim for first!

Judges' Top 25 of all entries: 20% each

So it's: Points from Judge A+Points from Judge B+Points from Judge C+Points from Judge D+Points from Community Top 25=Community Votes.

By that equation my map would have gotten 35 points + points from community top 25. I ended up getting 18 community points. I am very confused.

I believe this is an unfair method of counting points. Well, it would probably still come out extremely similar to using a much more simple and understandable method, it us unnecessarily extravagant. This formula makes this exponential, increasing distance between maps and making votes looks more skewed.

This being said, they result is still probably the same or extremely similar to what could have been.
